John, I ran the half along with my sister and two cousins. We had planned on making the trip since last spring together as a family trip, but when our grandfather passed away in September, we decided to run the race in his memory.

I did get up early on Sunday and cheer on the runners as they came past the GF.

What a great way to run the race, for your Grandfather!  Congrats on doing it!  I remember the folks well outside the GF, they were a huge help since there were not too many out there!
