Views FROM the Peoplemover
« on: Jun. 01, 2012 10:55 AM »
Well I love the Peoplemover, and I think others agree...no better place to relax and enjoy the scenery on a hot day in MK.  And I like to take shots of the Peoplemover, especially onboard moving shots.  But it's also fun sometimes to take shots FROM the Peoplemover - the higher perspective can be interesting, and shooting between the moving posts is always a fun challenge.  Here are a few shots I took this past trip of scenes around MK, taken from onboard the Peoplemover - two different rides on two different days:

Me too Justin! The last one is beautiful. I can never seem to catch a sunset.

I think we should definitely be adding a Pixelmania Peoplemover ride.  What might be really fun is everyone bring their 300+mm primes and high-end zooms...like we did on the Kilimanjaro Safari.  It should really have the cast members confused and all the other riders wondering what the ride is when they see all the ride cars stuffed full of huge lenses, like some demented Paparazzi ride.

Love that silhouette shot! I like to take photos from the Peoplemover too, but the last few times I rode it, they had the speed cranked up so high it was very hard to shoot from.

Love the last one Justin. I took a few from this ride myself last week. I will upload some to this thread as soon as I get around to going through them. That is after I get rid of this cold Mickey sent me home with. LOL

Great shots.

The mover was one of my favorite attractions when I visited so many years ago.  Thanks for the pics.

Thanks guys.  Sorry to hear of the cold Leo.  Deep irony there - traveling to a super-hot and humid place in the summer, and getting a cold!

Nice shots.  We also love the people mover especially when the kids need a short break.
