Thanks Jeff!  This is a shot that I had my camera set all wrong and did not know it.  It was almost completely white, thus the over editing of it.  I kinda like it though.

i'm gonna take a guess here, first shot of the day after shooting the stage show and going to bed, i can't even count how many times i've done that. i almost make it a habit now to take one quick early one out the balcony doors, just to confirm i'm back to port call daytime settings

I am not sure if that is what it was, but I would put my money on it since that was my first trip with my 50mm 1.4, so the camera was probably on a/priority and I never reset it.  I have about 12 shots like it before I realized.  Like the idea of that first shot each day to test it!  Will try that this summer!
