Haven't seen the Yak in person, but I really like it's lines. So is there a 200-400 in your future? :D

The 200-400 is on my list of post-lottery-winning acquisitions. :)

Interesting concept.  And the plane in the background is the same one that was at Indy.

Another batch:

After the school bus got done running around, this guy came out to douse the grass fires it set off.  Jet-powered school buses and drought conditions do not mix.

Here's my final batch of air show photos, at least until I can figure out how to compare shots from the D800 to my D300.

A T-28 Trojan trainer, used to train budding jet pilots.

Trojan man

A formation of Beech T-34 Mentor trainers.

Mentoring in the air

Another view of the P-51C Mustang.

Red nose, red tail

A PV-2 Harpoon which lives here in Indy.  Note the mission markings below the cockpit.  This shot was taken with a D800.  Notice how much better 36 megapixels looks?  ;)

Harpoon exploits

Beautiful shots Dennis, I'm sorry I missed this until now but I'll be sure to watch for more.
