Mid-December photowalk
« on: Nov. 13, 2009 08:33 AM »
If any of you will be at WDW the week after Pixelmania, I'm co-hosting a photowalk for Tagrel.  With the success of last year's AllEars photowalk, people were asking about one this year.  Since Scott, Lisa and Barrie are all elsewhere that week, we decided to do it ourselves.

Wow, didn't know Dave would have a presence this year since he did his own thing in October.  Have fun with Erin, she's a hoot!

I will be there during the time that would have been MouseFest, but probably won't make the photowalk because I'm there for my wedding and we have lots of things scheduled for that time already.   ;D

you know you could have had it during pixelmania and saved on photography, or at least gotten hundreds of candid shots from all kinds of angles, actually we could have made it a pixelmania meet, brides of the world???
or we could have trailed the lovely couple around world showcase posing them for photos
why there's no limit to where my imagination is running with this

anyway, congratulations, and many happy years together,(20 for me next april)

A REAL Disney photo fanatic would find time for both   ;D

Congratulations, and we'll be looking for you in your white Mickey ears!

I set up a Flickr group for the Tagrel photowalk.  If you want to participate but don't want to register at Tagrel (any why wouldn't you?), you can go there instead.

I was thinking just like you Gary!  A wedding during Pixelmania...lord but they'd have tons of wedding photos!  Sounds like such a good idea, maybe we should ask around:

Anyone going to Pixelmania feel like getting married to someone up there, so we can schedule a new photo event?  ;)

Here's what we decided to do.  Join us if you can.

Animal Kingdom photowalk, Monday, Dec. 14, 9 - 11 am

After entering the park, head to the left. We'll meet in the area between the restrooms and the path to Rainforest Cafe. We'll explore the Oasis and those obscure paths around the Tree of Life. We'll finish up on the path from Africa to Asia near Tamu Tamu refreshments; the goal is to arrive in time for the 11 am appearance of Divine.

(If you have a better idea for a route, I'm open to suggestions. For example, there may not be enough light in the Oasis in the morning, so maybe heading for another area would be better.)

Note that the park opens at 8 am for Extra Magic Hours. When you RSVP, please note if you will not be able to arrive early. If everyone arrives before 9, we'll take off sooner.

Special bonus photowalk:

Friday, Dec. 11, 8:30 - 11 am: Christmas walk and ride

Meet inside the main building of the Polynesian on the upper level near the monorail. We'll spend about 45 minutes there enjoying the Christmas decorations. We'll then ride the monorail to the Grand Floridian and repeat the process. Finally, we'll take the monorail to the TTC where we'll head over to Epcot in time for WDW Today's Grand and Glorious meet.

If you can join us, please RSVP at http://www.flickr.com/groups/tagrel2009photowalk/

Congrats Nitro!  I got married on Sunset Pointe 9 years ago, and wouldn't trade it for the world, BUT I would have liked to have had the opportunity to have all of these fine folks take my photo's, that would simply be awesome!
