A few from Nemo

This is a great show, and if my camera hadn't died again for the final time, I would have gotten more here.  Oh well, there is always Pixelmania! ;)

Nice wrok.  The dark compositions help it nicely - it gives the background a more obscure, infinite look rather than like a stage...works very nicely with the little pops of color and light on stage.

I was really impressed with this show, and I think that with the 50mm 1.8 I'll get some GREAT shots there.

I was too...only saw it for the first time a few trips back last year...and I only had my 18-250 F3.5-6.3 with me...got some good shots for sure, but a lower light lens would have been even better.

Excellent shots.  Just remember, with a 50mm lens you have to get in line earlier so you can get better seats (and people line up for this EARLY during busier seasons).  We fell into pretty good seats on our recent trip, and we still were a good 10 rows away from what I would consider a good distance to use the 50mm.

Yeah, I would love to get down close enough to sit next to the stage that juts out into the audience, but with the 50 (really 80) that would probably be too close for anything good.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."
