Now approaching EPCOT Center
« on: Dec. 29, 2008 02:30 PM »
Rode in front of the monorail on the way back to Epcot and took this blurry photo just before going around Spaceship Earth.  Brought back memories of when it was called EPCOT Center.

That is awesome Scott!
I have been dying to ride in the front for that long trip to Epcot!
We rode once in the front car, from the MK to the Contemp. not exactly the most time possible up there!

And you are right, I love the wand gone, EPCOT now looks just like it should!
EPCOT Center indeed. :)

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Ahem to that!  I don't mind Disney doing things like the wand but wish they had done it for just the one year.  Guess it was too expensive for that but sure am glad it's gone now.

Ditto.  Thought it was a cool idea for the celebration, but didn't like it when they went from 2000 to Epcot.  At least they didn't throw the money into the gift shops like someplace else at the same time...

That's a great shot at night. We just did that during the day.
