“Legends of Hollywood”
This photo of Legends of Hollywood in Disney’s Hollywood Studios was one of the first mirrorless photos that I had taken in Walt Disney World after getting my Sony NEX-6 (I also now have the a6000). I love the small, lightweight feel of the camera when I get sick of lugging around my big, heave (and AWESOME) Canon 1Dx. The mirrorless cameras make for a very nice change of pace and have some incredible in-camera effects that I LOVE to use, even though I swore I never would.
This photo of Legends of Hollywood features the Legends of Hollywood building, foreground with classic car, the billboard for the Hollywood Tower Hotel (look closely), and an awesome sky to make for one very dynamic wide-angle composition. I remember waiting for quite a while for the crowds to part so I could shoot clean (no people) which was difficult because this photo covers a large area in the park. The Sony 10-18 OSS is a great wide-angle lens and one that I would recommend you get if you have the financial ability to do so.
Black and white is something that I very much enjoying shooting because it seems more “artistic”. I love it! Do YOU want to see more black and whites from around Walt Disney World? If you please let me know in the comments below and I will be happy to share more.
Enjoy your day, everyone, and be sure to check all the good doings over at WDW360!
