“Paige Turner and Betty Shambles”

Two more of Hollywood’s sweethearts, Paige Turner and Betty Shambles, like to offer advice to those who are willing to ring the bell.  The problem only problem is that some may say the advice is worth what you pay for it.  In this case, that would be “free”.

For this full-length portrait of Paige Turner and Betty Shambles, I had them standing in “open shade” away from harsh sunlight and used a Canon 280 EXII (it’s tiny, inexpensive, and throws a LOT of light – not to mention can be remotely triggered by a 580 EX) as a fill-flash to bring plenty of light onto my subjects.  Without a flash, they would have appeared as dull and had harsh shadows under their eyes, noses, and chins and the contrast and colors would have been horrible.  I then used an overlay layer to fix the contrast on the chalkboard and bring the text out for easier readability.

Next time you are around and Paige Turner and Betty Shambles are offering advice, ring the bell and ask a question.  Just be ready for whatever answer you might get!
