“Luxo the Lamp”
Luxo the Lamp from Pixar fame used to appear on top of a building in Pixar Place across from Toy Story Mania in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Frequent breakdowns and technical difficulties forced this loveable character to be retired after a very short time. The show was very entertaining as Luxo would come out, hop around, pose, and go back in to prepare for the next show. It’s a shame that Luxo is not there anymore, as the brief show was a lot of fun and another layer of immersion at Pixar Place.
