Flower and Garden Monorail
“Flower and Garden Monorail”

Back in April while we were in Walt Disney World during Spring Break, I took full advantage of the opportunity to photograph the heck out of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. The sheer beauty of the flowers, colors, topiary figures, and butterfly gardens is wonderful and a huge value-added addition to your park admission.
I remember getting this exact shot: I was standing by with my wife and kids, waiting for the monorail to pass as the sunlight was just perfect and the colors were extraordinary. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, the monorail finally came by and the shot was made. What’s even more ironic is the fact that whenever I am standing by, waiting to get that perfect shot of the monorail going by, it always seems to take forever to come around.
Although it’s most likely an impossibility to keep the flowers out all year due to the scorching heat of the summer, don’t you wish Epcot could keep the park decorated like they do during Flower and Garden all year long? It would certainly make for some incredible monorail shots.
